Make a list of different account who want to join in different event

My first tabs is a list of event with all the information.
I also have user profile.
I would like a button to “notify” their presence at the event and at the same time add their name to the list of event attendees (column) and another button to dalete their presence from the attendees list.
I tried with the like button, but it doesn’t create the list of people who like the event.
I tried with a form button but it is not good for what i want.
I tried with an empty sheet where to add the presence by adding name of the user and event, through “add a row” (the thing that was more functional), but then I don’t have the possibility to cancel the presence
