MacBook Pro - which browser works better for Glide?

I use Safari but occasionally Glide restarts my app player. It works solid, but would Chrome perform better?

  • For the App Builder: I used Chrome for a long time, but a month or so back I switched to Arc browser. I find it far superior to any other browser I’ve ever used. Not just for Glide, but for everything. Does a much better job of managing memory, and far easier to keep things organised (I maintain 8 separate workspaces).
  • For the App Player: On mobile you should use Safari on IOS, and Chrome on Android. On Desktop/Laptop, I don’t think it matters.

Note that the restarts that you experience are not necessarily related to your browser. Every time Glide does a production deployment, this will trigger a refresh. This happens multiple times per week.

Been an Arc user for over a year and I can share this sentiment. I don’t think I have ever had a problem with Glide using Arc.
