Glide dev with Safari versus Chrome

I have used Chrome for the last 2+ years with Glide and am looking at switching to Safari…thoughts?

Any real-world differences in functionality or performance?

Anything else?

TIA

Matt

I would say that Chrome supports modern web standards better, and has superior developer tools.

Safari in the other hand, prioritizes efficiency and privacy. Annnnd Apple ecosystem integration of couuurse. Safari lacks support for newest browser’s APIs.

That said, there are a lot of Glide Builders who use Safari without issue. 98% of the time.

Take a look at Arc.
It is Chromium based and in my view is hands down the best browser out there.
Takes a little bit to get used to, but is well worth the effort.
