Known issues with SQL data sources on legacy Business plans

Hello Gliders,

We’re aware of two issues with legacy Business plans (“Business 2024”) using SQL data sources.

  1. Upgrade modal appears for apps connected to SQL
  2. Data Editor crashes when you try to connect a new SQL data source

Our team is working on a fix.

In the meantime, you can close + ignore the upgrade modal, and use the following workaround to connect new SQL data sources:

  1. Open the Settings panel
  2. Go to Integrations
  3. Connect your SQL data sources

You will then be able to select these sources from the Data Editor.

Note: BigQuery is the exception. It needs to be configured in the Data Editor.

If you’re on a legacy Business plan and experiencing any related issues, please let us know in this thread.

Thank you!

Yes, I am still having issues. I connected to Postgres for my existing sources, but when I open to check the data editor it crashes. I believe my issue is due to the Big Table I used to connect data via API that I have. I removed the data and it still crashes. Sharing a loom video here: Troubleshooting App Crashes! 🛠️ | Loom

I have business plan and can’t seem to add any of those shown in the printed screen. Should I be able to? It says I would need to be enterprise to be able to use them.

Are you on a legacy Business plan (before November 4th) or a new Business plan (November 4th onwards)?

SQL data sources were moved to Enterprise with our latest plan refresh.
