Welcome back! We’re glad to have you back. To recover your apps, you’ll need to create a new Team and then transfer your apps to the new Team. You can find more information on how to do this in our documentation here: Glide Docs • Projects.
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
You may not remember me: I’m the guy who built an app to support Walking Tours at the beginning of the pandemic: see https://tourlex.glideapp.io/
In any case, I’ve occupied with other stuff for the past year or so.
I seemed to miss the transition in the Spring of 2022. When I try to login, I don’t see any of my apps (there were probably 10 of them, two or three that were actually things I was working on.
I’d like to start developing in Glide, but I do need to recover the three or so apps that are the most import ones.
In answer to your question, when I first logged in, I say reference to My Apps, but there was nothing there. Then I tried to see if I could solve this myself by creating a new team “Harry’s Team”. At that point, several things seem to be added – the types of things a new user would receive to get them started – but nothing related to the stuff I used to have when I logged in.
I haven’t lost my My Apps folder yet. It’s locked down meaning I can’t technically create new apps and can’t change the plan on existing apps, but I can still maintain existing apps with no issues. I’m not entirely sure where glide is at with their conversion, but nothing has been moved or removed in my case.
Are you sure that you signed in with the same account/email that you used last year? Maybe you inadvertently created a new glide account, which would explain why it’s empty.
You were right. 99% of the time, I use my “harry@forsdick.com” email address. This is an alias I created 30 years ago which I have redirected to the email system I am using at the moment. Currently, and probably for the last 20 years that has been “forsdick@gmail.com”. For some reason I found that it was easier to use the real mail address with Glide. Not sure why, but when I tried that address, everything appeared again.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Now to figure out what has happened / changed in the last year in Glide-land.
