With that said, Iâm not aware of Glide ever deleting classic apps. I still have several even though they are not functional at the moment. Are you sure your are signing in with the correct account? Ar your checking for any additional team folders or sub folders within a team?
This doesnât help. Someone or something has deleted the app as the apps page https://libro.glideapp.io/ is simply no longer there. I know it is correct as the Internet Archive has captured it.
I can log into my Glide account (which I use Google for) and there is an app there that is nothing to do with me and my own app - there was only one - has gone. This new app is called âMyNeedsMateâ.
In the message you attached it mentoned the new domain as glide.page but that just redirects back to glideapps.com
Worst of all, I have received no emails at all from Glide for the past two years - there should not be a problem as I use the same gmail account.
It feels like this migration has gone badly wrong and I now have someoneâs data assigned to my login and mine I guess is elsewhere resting on someone elseâs account.
What is the support contact for for Glide, apart from here? The support pages on glideapps.com do not seem to have any contact information.
A little more investigation and I find that my appâs previous domain looks like it has indeed been assigned to another user (or hacked?!!)
I was using libro.glideapp.io but now I find find that libro.glide.page is someone completely different.
So this is an app that you didnât create and donât know where it came from? If you edit the app, are there any clues in the data where or who it came from?
Of course it will just redirect to glideapps.com if you donât include a subdomain.
Have you checked your spam folder. I usually receive periodic marketing, announcement, or billing emails from Glide, so that indicates that something is blocking them if you havenât received any in two years.
Someone could have taken libro.glide.page long before the conversion, so itâs not necessarily the case that someone stole it. It just means that it wasnât claimed by anyone else. Having a claim on libro.glideapp.io doesnât not mean you automatically have a claim on libro.glide.page as well.
So out of curiosity, do you have any other team folders or team subfolders that you can see in the builder? Click on the Team name at the top left of the screen in the dashboard and see if any other team folders exist. Team subfolders are shown below the team dropdown if you have any.
Are there any other users that belong to any of your teams? You should see them by clicking the Members button in the bottom left of the dashboard. Just trying to determine if anybody else has access to your team that could have been messing with anything.
Also, is the email you used for this forum the same email you used for your Glide account?
I use Gmail, but also have an offline backup. There is nothing in ether place from Glide.
The email address I use for the forum is different to the one I use for my glideapp. My glideapp was also linked to a data sheet in Google Drive on the same account. That data is still there.
Ok. Not sure what else to suggest at this point. Your app should have not disappeared, and I canât explain why you have a different app. I did tag a Glide team member, so weâll see if they respond with additional information.
It feels like there is a flaw in the auto-migration process. If the *.glide.page is already taken when the Classic aap is migrated from glideapp.io it is either going to fail, or one overwrites the other. Presumably, the Glide team can work this out as we know my original project address: libro.glideapp.io
The automated migration process would have maintained your appâs URL (the glideapp.io URL) â this process did not create a glide.page URL for the new App.
If the migration failed, it was likely because the Google Sheets file had become disconnected from the app.
Given the significant notice that was provided regarding Classic Apps deprecation and the need to migrate to the new platform, it is no longer possible to open a Classic app.
Iâm sorry youâre having an issue, but your best bet now is to rebuild your app as a new App from your Dashboard.
I think it would only have become âdisconnnectedâ after migration as the app was still working up to that point.
It also doesnât really explain why I now have an unknown app sitting on my account, which does appear to have been migrated from somewhere, suggesting data has been corrupted between at least two accounts.
