Invalid Space Characters Breaking Relations

I’ve pasted some plain text data in a Google sheet, but when it syncs over to Glide, relations don’t kick in until I manually edit and re-type any “space” characters in any text. It’s the weirdest thing.

I’ve tried copying and pasting from existing data tables to each other, the exact same data in both the two tables that should be relating and the relation is broken every time because of spaces. It’s not until i re-type them that they are fixed.

Why is typing a space in Glide a different detected character than spaces that are pasted or imported from other sources?

Yes i can probably just use ID’s to link, but that’s not the point.

It’s a known bug. Copy-pasting in the Data Editor appears to paste correctly, but spaces are encoded differently in the paste and the values are not the same.

A fix for the copy/paste issue should be deployed soon. I would guess within a day or two.
