How to update existing row data using submit button

I want a column data to update when i hit submit button. Let’s suppose i have created a custom form when i want to add 2 numbers and i have created two entry fields for 2 numbers and the source columns of that entry field has already 10 and 20 in it, but i want to change it to the number which user enters, when the user hits submit.
what action should i choose for the submit button.
