[Help!] Updates Overrun in Legacy Business 2023 Plan

Hello, experts! As i mentioned above, I’ve been using this Business Plan 2023 (now it called ‘Legacy Business’) for about 3 years.
Now I am facing overrun updates and billing. I have video-called Glide Team, and they suggest me to migrate to native Glide Table (from Google Spreadsheet).
And I’ve done the recommendation, migrating from Google Spreadsheet to Glide Table (which takes lot of time).

But all the efforts seem to be useless, as I am facing that the updates still climbing up and up.
Is that true that for ‘Legacy’ Business Plan, update in native Glide Table still be counted as updates?
Currently my user is 98 public users.

What should I do to reduce this overrun updates & billing?

Is your app still connected to the Google sheet, even though you aren’t using it? Do you have Extra Sync enabled? What does the dashboard show is using updates under usage?

Hi Jeff. Actually, yes, the app still connected to Google Sheet. However, recently I found a potentially bug in the workflow. Here is the screenshot.

Since the updates increasing abnormally, I hide the workflow from all the users. BUT, it still keep running (and counted as updates), until I chose to DISABLE the workflow (Set Column Values, Show Notification, even Go Back). Then the increasing updates successfully stopped, as the button/workflow hidden to all users.

Is this sounds a bug to you?

I’m aware of a bug that’s been around for quite a while where workflow changes won’t publish unless you make a change to the screen layout somewhere (can be any change, or even a temporary change, just to trigger the publish). I don’t think that issue has ever been fixed, and I’ve never heard of Glide acknowledging the bug, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was still a there. That would be my best guess as to what’s happening in your case

As far as I remember, the legacy pricing charged updates even for Glide Tables.

Also, to confirm whether your changes were published, click the Share button in the top-right corner. You’ll be able to see when your changes were last published.

And just like Jeff said, the bug still exists, so you can add any component, such as a separator, to any screen to trigger the publish.

Hello Hassan, so if I migrate my current plant to the new Business Plan, would it be fit to my case? I have almost 100 public users, and consume updates 50,000++ updates. The additional updates will be charged more ($0.02/extra updates) than my current plan ($0,01/extra updates).
