Google Sheet tabs not updating in Data Editor after refresh

Hello. I have cleaned up my Google Sheet by deleting several tabs. However, the old, deleted tabs are still visible in my Glide Data Editor list. The ‘Reload sheet’ button is missing from my Settings > Data panel. How can I force Glide to refresh the sheet schema? Thank you.

Those are Glide Tables. You imported data from a google sheet. It’s not syncing with a google sheet. If you want to delete them, you can do that from the builder. Do you have a plan that allows you to connect and sync with a google sheet?

Thank you for your reply.

To clarify, these are not Glide Tables. I connected a Google Sheet as the live source for the app. The tables in the Data Editor are syncing with my Google Sheet.

The problem is that I deleted some tabs within my source Google Sheet, but the old, deleted tabs are still appearing as ‘ghost’ tables in the Glide Data Editor. The refresh button is not updating the list of tables.

How can I force Glide to completely re-read the structure of my source Google Sheet?

Hi Artem,

Looks like you selected this option when creating the app:

If you need to select Google Sheets as data source, you need to select this option:

If you had selected Google Sheets as data source, your table icons would have had a green Google Sheet Icon and you would have been able to see your connected sheet on the bottom left corner:

Thank you so much, Hassan! You were absolutely right.

I had mistakenly imported the data into Glide Tables instead of connecting the Google Sheet as a live source. Your explanation with the screenshots made it perfectly clear.

Creating a new app and selecting the correct “Google Sheets” data source solved the problem completely. I will mark your post as the solution.

Thank you again for your expert help!
