Hello. I began building an app out of a google sheets file. Once coding I realized I needed more columns but Glide is not seeing them… Is there a way to force that refresh?
Long time ago I know it took a few minutes but it looks like this is not working like that any more.
I am on Legacy Free plan.
Thanks
On the bottom left side of the data screen you’ll see your google sheet connection and some refresh arrows. Click that for a forced refresh. Otherwise there may be an error that it will tell you about.
Google sheets is spotty with refreshes at time. Consider AirTable much more robust and dependable.

GPT told me I am using Glide Tables so I was able to manage it by editing the table directly on the data tab. I didn’t realize my google sheets was migrated into a glide table… Mught this be related to the fact that I am on the free plan? I am uploading a screenshot.
It shouldn’t automatically do that. Most likely you somehow started on the Glide Tables and you missed it wasn’t Google Tables. Are you planning on doing a lot of integrations or automations with your app?
Glide tables aren’t the greatest for going outside the platform their APIs are a little funny. If you’re working in the app and ok using the native Glide functionality for triggers and automation then keeping it on Glide Tables shouldn’t be a huge issue.

Legacy Free apps can still be connected to google sheets, but they no longer sync automatically.
Current free plans allow you to import google sheet data into glide tables. You need a paid plan to sync with google sheets.

Thanks, super clear.
No, I am not planning on integrations (at least right now!). I am just creating a pretty static newsletter which I will update on a bi-monthly basis with new news
I think it is much friendlier than the old style email based newsletters…
