Google Analytics New Properties vs Data Streams

Hi all,

Hoping there is someone knowledgeable about Google Analytics in here.

We have two apps in production and a duplicate of those apps for demo purposes - all four on the Pro plan. We also have a website.

When I set up our Google Analytics account I created one Property with five separate Data Streams for the five items I listed above.

Does anyone know if that is in line with “best practices”? Or if we should split out the properties and create separate properties for website, production, and demo? Thoughts?

In case anyone finds this and is having the same question, I kept the original setup with all five data streams pooling into one property and it is working well. At first I wasn’t sure if it would work properly since each data stream is the same type (App & Web) but so far so good.
