I am trying to use the “Is Reply” feature from the Gmail integration, but I cannot get it to work properly.
I would like to send an email when a certain task is created and, when this task is finished, to send another email but in reply to the first email sent. I am pretty sure this is what the “Is Reply” function does, but I am not sure what to put in the “Message ID” entry.
Is this really a feature?

This is the action where I want the email to reply to an email sent earlier from another action.
“Title mail OG” is the subject of the other email, but it doesn’t seem to be working as it doesn’t reply to the other email in the same thread.

As stated in the info popup, the Message ID is only available for builders when you use an email trigger for the workflow.
In other cases, when you send an email with Send Email/Gmail/Outlook in Glide, I don’t believe they return a message ID to you.
Not sure if it works for other email clients, but I recall Gmail grouping messages under the same email loop if you use the same subject.
