Glide’s new plans and pricing [Closed Thread]

@tuzin

Yes, I saw that conversation in the Slack, but as David mentioned…don’t rely on it as it’s currently a bug…

Now we know… Thanks for bringing that vital piece of information to the community! My bad I didn’t update my posts right after I was told by CEO it’s currently a bug

I believe you can just create a new team and th|n transfer your app. I would personally suggest duplicating the app first and transferring the duplicate so you at least have a version on both team plans to play with.

Thanks Jeff, eventually figured it out and did exactly as you instructed.

Just to be clear, there is no longer a concept of private users in the new plans. Only Personal Users or Users (Personal and Business). Based purely on the real world email domains you provided above I would expect all 4 emails to be considered business emails, so only usable under Team and above plans which don’t distinguish between personal or business email addresses.

If 10 users are signing in to post content, then that would be 10 users. All plans allow for 10 users at a minimum.

Did you transfer an existing app from an old team into a new team? Is that existing app connected to any external data sources, such as Google sheets?

Hi, I have a lot of questions but I need some expert help to explain to me which plan matches my case, i need to know if Glide is still the better solution.
In my job, we developing a CRM Imobiliary. Maybe we have 70+ users, who are signing the CRM, registering houses, apartments, and others, our clients come with integration with other CRM to management clients, so we have clients coming to and adding data in spreadshet all the time, and users adding and editing data all the time, putting pictures of houses and specs os they. We want to integrate ChatGPT to generate descriptions of those houses, Make of Integromate sending data per webhook, etc.

we don’t purchase any plans, the CRM is now in the developing phase, how much do we need to pay in some cases like this? We stay in Brazil and any dollar, we need pays five times the considerate cost of the dollar in our country, thanks for all.

Unlimited means uncapped. It does not mean infinite. Nothing is stopping you have having 25k user rows, but the row limit still exists and applies.

There is a tool here to help you calculate costs:

It all depends how you use your updates. If they are integrating directly with a glide table within the app not using an api, webhook or otherwise, updates are unlimited. /

However you mentioned webhooks, those will cost updates, and any sync between a google sheet or similar will cost updates. Your price just increased dramatically.

we got like 50 clients coming per day by webhook, I need to calculate, 50 * 8 dollars per day of additional cost?

If the clients are accessing the app with a business email and logging in…yes, but not per day, per month. If you have 50 unique users per month logging in that cost is correct.

Please read some more on the pricing documentation to better understand.

The prices increase dramatically with the new pricing model. It seems to be either geared towards two subsets now:

  1. prototyping an app quickly to see if its possible and then building it somewhere else.
  2. enterprise clients using glide tables, or sql with larger pocketbooks.

The $8 only applies per user if they are signing in to your App. And it’s not per day, it’s per month.

these clients do not sign on system, they are data is coming for the webhook for another system and added on pertinent spreadsheet

Also be careful of marketing schemes. It says save 20% if billing annually. Not the case according to the calculator:

Teams - 20 users - 10k updates - 199 paid annually = 2388
Teams - 20 users - 10k updates - 225 / month = 2700.00

20 percent discount should mean you are only paying = 2160.00 per year…

So our brokers, per month give us 8 dollars additional, I mean we have 70 brokers, so we have 560 dollars additional to pay per month? Considering that 20 users are included in the Team plan, we need to pay an additional 50 brokers and the additional cost is 400 dollars per month, the Team plan have now 125 dollars of cost per month (the annual plan is out of the discussion). In this case, we have 525 dollars of cost per month, am I right?

If your clients are not signing in and using your app, they are just rows of data in your app and are not “users”. A user is someone who needs to sign in to your app and use it. It sounds like the only people using the app are employees who are accessing client data. In this case, the number of clients has nothing to do with the number of users.

You are right, these “clients” are data we register, but these data come by webhook, and this will incur additional cost I mean?

As long as your plan supports webhooks, the additional costs would be in the form of updates, which is the same as it’s always been.

I suspect the 20% discount is only applied to User count, and not updates.
