Glide DB ➡ Tableau for Business Intelligence + Reporting

Glide family, I’d love to be able to leverage the database for my CRM-like app for some reporting. Beyond what Glide can do natively.

Is the proper process something like this?

  1. Data in Glide’s Data Editor
  2. Glide API (via Pro plan) or Zapier or Make
  3. Some other database? (
  4. Tableau

I want to be able to run weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting. But I don’t want to have to manually export the database from the Data Editor each time we do it.

If you keep your data in Glide, I think that’s the only way you can do it since Tableau can not directly access data from Glide Tables, as far as I aware.

You have to get access to the query tables API on Business/Enterprise and run an automation to export your data on a schedule.
