Glide app store - Wiz’z spin on Glide template store!

can not wait to see this # The battle of stores

Glider, As you say competition is good. It helps us to both learn and improve. But we gliders are not and hopefully never will be in competition with each other. We are here to help each other rout in whatever way we can. Take Jeff, Robert petittoLisa, Thinh Dinh, Krivo, Mannan, Gvalero, Christopher, and the list just goes on and on, as examples. They make their knowledge available for free to us all Not to mention Jack Vaughan, David, Mark ( leaders) with all their free templates and this easy on the eye Glide interface Take Experiments, and Concepts. So where is the competition/battle of xxxx? I mean it just so happens that we are all thinking about the same stuff around the same time :joy::joy::rofl::rofl:

Agree 100%.

I’m assuming that “battle” comment is just a joke? Everyone here is extremely knowledgeable and having everyone involved has made a number of my builds 10x better than me chugging along on my own.

That’s what I love about this forum. It’s also nice to see how other people build differently for the same use cases. Also, it can’t really be a competition if I am already shameless admitting that I will incorporate some of @Wiz.Wazeer’s approaches

Still in shock with all of the functionality you put in your store. Like you said, we’re all thinking of similar things at the same time!

:joy: your a bit late. I’ve already taken your reviews section. Skipped me until I saw yours :rofl::rofl:. But I’m only using comments for reviews since I’m not too happy with all these new emojis that one person can see but another cant blah. In comments I can use emojis too. But I’ve done mine differently( like an accordion):rofl::rofl::rofl:. Sorry

Thank you

I really liked the ideas you developed in the app! I was creating a similar project, but I have left it somewhat forgotten, but I never thought about how to put paid apps, I loved how you solved it

Glad I was able to solve it

Lucas! Thank you ! Yes I will ! Cast your mind back a few weeks. RememberI said I wasn’t ready to reveal anything yet? I was developing the website at the time with (PP/CC/DC/Strioe etc). This app just a by product of the website (more by accident than design). Bu 2 in 1 website/mobile app. Better be selling loads :rocket:Just beautifying the site at the moment. But Sunday you get a preview and can add all your stuff. Then following week (few days) start monetising.

Lisa here is I think the solution you have been looking for>?

Great idea but I can’t sign up as it’s not GDPR compliant.

Demos are exempt from GDPR compliance. As developers we are allowed to test our machines. Compliance becomes an issue when the app is on sale to members of the public. In-house (which this community of developers is), GDPR is inapplicable. I deal with lawyers everyday! :slightly_smiling_face:And don’t worry about GDPR compliance. TypeGuard will always be held vicariously liable, irrespective of what their legal position is; after all no point in going after the little fish; you take down the big one…little ones brittle away!

GDPR becomes an issue when ANYTHING with a form collecting personal data is accessible via a browser on the internet.

Who ever is advising you needs to study the law on this again…anyways…David closed this topic…so lets not reopen old wounds :slightly_smiling_face:
