I would love to see an option to have the “group by” functionality together with a sorting option. There is only one way to sort items, and the “group by” depends on that sorting. However, it would be great to be able to set for example “Group A” always on top.
For example: I would like to pin posts always on top, regardless of the “sort data” setting.

Sorting Group By is a necessity otherwise you may as well not have the group by option.
Ideal solution here would be a Sort Group By option with similar options to the standard table sort by feature. But the sort by table order should be able to look at other tables, for example we have a resources table where we list the Grouping headings. This will allow custom ordering.
