Form screen not opening in Chrome but does in Safari

Hey fellow users and support team!

I’m encountering a bit of a hiccup and could really use your insights or assistance.

Bug Description:
I’ve recently come across an issue while trying to set up the form screen in Chrome. For some reason, the screen won’t open, leaving me stuck in a bit of a conundrum. However, everything seems to be working perfectly fine when I switch over to Safari.

Environment:

  • Chrome Version: Version 120.0.6099.71 (Official Build) (arm64)
  • Safari Version: Version 17.1.2 (19616.2.9.11.12)
  • Operating System: MacOS Sonoma Version 14.1.2 (23B92)

If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has any suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve this bug, your insights would be greatly appreciated! Also, if any of the support team members are lurking around, your help would be invaluable.

Check all your Chrome extensions to ensure one of them isn’t getting in the way.

Hey Darren, all of them are turned off.

Okay, my only other suggestion would be to try in an incognito window.

Tried that too but no go :frowning:

I did a test with Firefox and it works there without issues. Popups are allowed in Chrome settings. Really weird.

Yes, that is odd. I use Chrome on MacOS and I’ve never seen this.
There was a similar report a couple of days ago, but that one was resolved by disabling extensions (which is why I initially suggested that).

Which Glide Plan are you on?
If Pro or above, I’d suggest submitting a support ticket. That is the quickest way to get Glide engineering eyes on the issue.

I’m on the free plan @Darren_Murphy.

Just did a couple of tests and it turns out having “Use hardware acceleration when available” option turned on disables the form popup to work for some reason.
