I’ve set the Directory app “privacy” to public as I would like to enable the public to browse freely the directory listings. Equally, I have 5 form buttons placed on the main screen to enable listers to enter their own data to the directory.
My question is:
Can I make the form button trigger the login screen to login listers email address and tag entered records with their credentials? If not, is there a work around.
I can’t think of a way to do this other than telling the user they need to log in first. It would be nice if Glide would prompt a user to sign in whenever an Add/Edit/Form screen is shown and the User’s Email Address Special Value is used on that screen. Or maybe a visibility condition to check if the user is logged in or not.
