I assume that would work as they are basically new rows.

Been racking my brain last few days. I have a chat set up for businesses. Do you know if chat work with row owners since businesseses have to choose who they want to speak with? Thanks!
If they can see chat or a comments component on a particular screen, then they can use. In the case of comments, as long as the topic value is the same for all users, they should all see the same thing. Row Owners should have no bearing on how that works, unless you are restricting access to the screen with the comments component based on row owners.

So it looks like row owners won’t work for chat. The recipients name and image disappears fron the chat when enabled.
I’m guessing most chats are either a private app, I have over 300 businesses so that’s not an option for me right now, OR they just have all the data accessible to anyone who signs in.
Jen - did you see that you can now assign multiple columns as row owners? (not sure if this will help in your case, but it might…)
