Favorite without signing in

Hello!
Im a Newbie at Glide and trying to make my first app! its for a summer event im hosting with an overview of teams, team members and challenges. I want to keep it simple and public so that the users dont have to sign in. However, it would also be really cool if the public users were able to favorite the different challenges. Would that be possible for public users or would i need to sign in and become private users?
