Hi Guys and Gals!
This week, we at https://lowcode.agency worked on a pretty cool app. A client wants to move from Expensify into their own custom, thus saving 100s of USD/month.
This is what we built:
Users log in with email and password.

If they don’t belong to the company, then they can’t log in.

When an approved user logs in, they see the day and a list of monthly expenses, as well as a graph of their monthly expenses, broken down by category.
With a floating button, users can add a new expense.

Users will only be able to submit an expense if the amount corresponds to the limit of the category. For example, employees only have 25 US per month to buy books, so in this case the user can’t submit their purchase.
In the user’s profile, they can see their monthly reports and know in a very easy way if the monthly report has been approved or not by HR.
In case there’s something unclear, the employee and HR can chat at the bottom of the screen, in the monthly report:

As an admin, the user can create new categories, and set limits per category.
The admin reviews the monthly report from each employee, and can approve it, move it back to pending, email the report or send to Asana:

The admin also has a pretty straightforward way to manage users and set permissions for each:
Anyway, thought this would be interesting to share.
A simple and straightforward solution to manage employee expense reporting in a business!
