Duplicate Menu with Same Format

Hi,

Is there a way to duplicate a menu such that the formatting remains exactly the same and I am able to reference a new google sheet with exactly the same formatting as the spreadsheet used as the source for the first menu item, but with different content?

If all of the reference cells are the exact same (i.e. I directly duplicated the first sheet) why does this not work when I “duplicate” the menu item directly and change the source to the duplicated sheet?

By menu, do you mean tab?

You should be able to duplicate a tab, but I think when you change the source sheet it automatically returns to a blank state.

What you can try is to create a new tab, choose the right source sheet, then copy all the components from the original tab to the new one. It’s just an idea, I’m not sure it would work perfectly but worth a try.
