I made a copy of my pro app and I want to have that copy be used as a different app.
Is there a way that I can have this duplicate app function outside of the original (without them sharing the same google sheet)? I want to be able to change the name of the sheet and this new app have its own sheet. Is this possible or do I have to recreate the app?
You do this when you go to duplicate the app:
If you’ve already duplicated the app, then you’ll need to duplicate the Google Sheet and replace it from within settings of the new app:
Or they could just make another duplicate of the app, but this time choose the “Copy the sheet” option 
Ya…I was thinking if they already made changes to the duplicate. If not, then yes, this would be fine too.
