@chrishoward Would this just update the markdown column, or save the value elsewhere?
Only update in markdown. Just an easy way to make a check list in a Notes field.
I know I can make a record that contains a checklist (and even make those checklist items contain checklists ad infinitum!).
But I was looking for something simpler.
… can you imagine trying to have this length of thread when we were on Spectrum…!
Thanks for the great ideas everyone.
I wondered if I should start this thread, glad I did but may have caused a bit of work for you so apologies for that
This was mentioned above - but I desperately want to be able to switch string based component types. Mainly - changing rich text components to basic text - and vice versa. Are there any crazy technical constraints I’m missing that might make this overly difficult?
I may be late to the party here and even though I read through all of these I do have a wish list:
This is probably my biggest pain right now, but Search on the Choice Component. The longer my component lists get, the more I need this!!!
I agree with undo/redo.
I would really like to have better login options like a username and password that creates a log of each time someone logs into my app bonus if it were to be able to log a location. Since my app is a CRM for our remote sales team, this would be an awesome feature.
Also because my workforce is remote, I would really like to be able to turn off the “Share App” feature. It would be super easy for someone to share my app with a competitor by allowing them to use their email address to get a new pin. This sort of goes along with the logging of when and possibly where someone is located when they log into my app.
I have other wants/needs, but the app works pretty well for me as a CRM for my unique company. I’ve been able to build it to the exact specifications I’ve wanted and still look nice and tech forward for my sales people who are used to pushing papers! My other wants are mostly formatting issues that I can deal with for now.
New icons for components and copy/paste of components within the same app tab are now available, great!
Ha. I believe this was my very first feature request (x+1) from last summer
New? Weren’t these released sometime ago?
People, I was thinking about making a big project with Glide and thought about the Glide and Google’s Data Base nowadays.
What do you think if we could use the spreadsheet as a base, but high flow information and great information (such as forms and logins) would fall directly into the Glide Data, and along with that, Glide would make Data Gb available in PRO plans?
I feel like I won’t be able to make some big projects with Glide using google sheets’ limitations
Sorry I respect your opinion, but google sheet with the google apps script can achieve a very complex systems

Digital signature / scribble cell. Use for guest waiver and employee form execution. Also, the scribble cell could also be used for field drawings and/or notes.
Love the community input!

I agree this would be AMAZING.
Prompt the user to sign in when the click the add or edit button (plus and pencil icons). It is similar to how users are prompted to sign in when they try to add comments or go to the chat section of the app.
As a thumb rule, any section of the app that is configured to take the current editor’s email address, should prompt for signing up/in.
We can then totally do away with an admin/editor app (write access) that is different from a user app (read-only access).

Lol @Jaime… so practical – I feel your pain.
