Does anyone else think the updates included in all plans are too few?

I’ve realized that a Glide app is unfeasible for a business like a convenience store or grocery shop because the main task in these businesses is scanning barcodes (the barcode scanner object uses 5 updates per scan) and recording the items in a sale. Each sale can include anywhere from 1 to 100 products, and there can easily be over 100 sales per day. Cost-wise, it’s not viable. Has anyone else been frustrated by being able to solve a problem technically but being economically limited? No client would pay for the number of updates required monthly to scan thousands of barcodes in a Glide app…

I know there’s an alternative for iOS called ScanKey, but for Android, I don’t know of any external app that can scan barcodes in batches.

Agree with the fact that scanner cost a lot of updates…

Tho, you maybe want to talk with sales, if you need a lot of updates for that use case, I sure they can do a specific enterprise plan for you.

For Android users, you might want to look into apps like:

Zoho also have some products that can handle that.
