jeg tror simpelhen jeg har rodet så meget med alle mulige funktioner at min hjerne er smeltet. jeg kan slet ikke ikke finde ud af noget som helts… Nogen der lige kan sige hvad er det jeg overser her eller har jeg bare tabt hovet fuldstændigt.
Jeg har en tabel med iconer set" navn, icon, status" og i min tabel med tilbud, der har jeg lavet en kulonne “True/False” og så har jeg lavet en if then else kulonne som" if True/False kulonne er “True” then Value"Acceptet" else Recjectet.
Så i tilbud tabellen laver jeg en Relation.

I simply think I’ve messed around with so many functions that my brain has melted. I just can’t figure anything out at all. Can someone just tell me what I’m overlooking here, or have I completely lost my mind?
I have a table with icons, showing “name, icon, status,” and in my table with offers, I’ve created a column “True/False.” Then I’ve made an if-then-else column like this: "if the True/False column is ‘True,’ then Value is ‘Accepted,’ else ‘Rejected.’
So in the offers table, I create a Relation. See the pictures; maybe it helps.
I forgot to mention. I can’t choose the column that displays the content in the offer on my view side. What am I doing wrong?

hvis jeg lookup til tabellen iconset så viser den alle iconer, jeg vil have den skal vise det icon som matcher til tilbuddets status. jeg kan simpelhen ikke se hvad det er jeg mangler eller gør forkert.

If I look up in the iconset table, it shows all icons. I want it to display the icon that matches the offer’s status. I simply can’t see what it is I’m missing or doing wrong.

Okay, jeg er ikke helt sikker på, om jeg har forstået det helt korrekt. Så jeg opretter et lookup i tabellen og derefter opretter jeg en relation på skærmen? Jeg skal lige have det helt klart. Det vil jeg da lige prøve. Tak for svaret!
You would create the Lookup column in the same table as your relation because the lookup will use the relation to retrieve values out of that relation. In your case, yes the offer table.
It seems like it’s doing this in my table, and then I think I might be fetching it incorrectly on my view screen. I just want to mention that I’m on the screen where you can see the task. And there, I want to show that there’s an offer awaiting acceptance. I’ve tried using a data grid, but there, you can’t make it choose an icon based on status because it shows the same icon regardless.
Your lookup column is not using the relation. You are using the table. Change your lookup to use the relation. Don’t select the table. It’s the Lookup column that needs to be corrected. Nothing else.
I said you can’t use a relation by itself because it doesn’t return a specific column value. Your existing relation was fine and is necessary. You just needed to add a Lookup column to retrieve a specific column value out of that relation.
I need more information. I need screenshots of your entire setup including the Relation configuration, Lookup configuration, and Collection configuration. I’m not understanding how you got your collection to look like that.
I can’t show you my viewscreen because I deleted what I had done as I don’t think I’m displaying it correctly, but you’ll get one where I’ve used a datagrid. And it doesn’t work either because it displays it on everything I enter… so I must be doing something wrong in my viewscreen.
