rename “area8aalinks2aalit.glideapp.io/” by karenpotter2 to “oiaalinks2aalit.glideapp.io/”
Hi Sam, welcome to Glide’s community forum
Did you try renaming the app on your own? Upper right-hand corner in the builder where it says “Publish” or “Share”.
If you were unable to do it yourself, we in the forum will not be able to do it for you, you would have to see with Glide Support. That being said, the application you are referring to was built on Glide’s old system. Though the apps there will still run, no further development is done on the old system and I’m not even sure that the support team will assist on these classic apps. I’m really not sure, it’s worth contacting them.
Looking forward, you’ll want to rebuild your old application on the new system.
Hi Nathan,
How do you open an existing app in the builder?
Was the app developed by you or someone else?
Hi Thinh,
It was developed by someone else.
I did request her to join my team.
I did get an email from Karen that gave me permission to copy and rename the app.
Thanks,
She has to invite you to her team for you to be able to edit that app, or you inviting her to your team so she can transfer that over.
Hi Thinh,
I spoke with Karen. She said she would update the app to the current version.
I have not heard back from her.
Can you check to see if there has been any activity on the app?
I don’t want to sour the relationship.
Thanks,
Ciao!
This is a public user forum. We are fellow users here and cannot check the internals of any app we are not involved with. Only Glide staff can check that and I’m doubting they would since it’s not really a support issue and would require explicit permission from the other user for you to know about their activity in Glide. Your best bet is probably to contact Karen directly.
Just be mindful of what you are posting in a public forum. I removed Karen’s email from a previous post since she is not the one who shared it.
