I got my usual ‘unrecoverable database error’ that I get a few times a day despite being on a business plan and using glide tables. Anyways, today i opened the editor and a days work on a screen has been replaced by a calendar component instead of the 6 tabs with tables inside I had before. There is no way that I could have accidentally done this as I only just logged in.
Has this happened to anyone else ? Probably no way to recover lost work which is a bummer.
Did you change the source table for the screen? Glide will reset the layout when the underlying table is changed.
Other times you can hit “undo” a dozen times and components magically come back up. I have gotten lucky a few times with this. Not sure that works with a source table change though.
nah I opened tab and editor and it was like that. I’ve used Glide since it came out so I get that stuff can happen, but yeah this was a mystery. I’ve recreated the screen now and found some efficiencies so all good. Blessing in disguise ?
This should be part of Glide’s formal documentation. In the section “What not to do” and the other section “What to do if you did something you shouldn’t do”
