Community Update: Glide is now SOC 2 Type 1 Certified 🔐

Hello Gliders!

Glide is now SOC 2 Type 1 certified

A SOC 2 Type 1 Certification (System and Organization Controls Report) is awarded after a third party performs a thorough audit of a company’s security practices.

See our blog post for more details.

Plus: We’re doing some housekeeping in the forum this week

  • We’ve published our updated community code of conduct. Find it in the new forum footer, along with other helpful links to Glide terms of service, uptime status, and more.

  • We’re removing the Uncategorized and #regulars categories. Existing posts will move to other categories where appropriate. Once that’s done you’ll need to choose a category when starting a new discussion thread.

  • The Glide wishlist for 2024 closes this Friday, January 12th. Jump in and support the ideas you agree with. We’ll summarize the responses afterwards.

P.S. You can now react to posts with something other than a

New features, fixes and updates

  • Added a Glide API option to return date-times as UTC
  • Made permission tweaks to the “new app” creation flow
  • Non-admins can now transfer apps between teams
  • Fixed an issue with slow loading on the Location component
  • Improved the required plan labels on data sources in the builder
  • Fixed an issue with writing date/time to timezone-aware SQL columns
  • Removed the ability to add new Airtable API keys (they’ll be deprecated in February)
