Collaborator invited but cannot see shared app in team space

I’m the owner of a team workspace , and I’ve invited someone as a full Editor on our main app. However, when she logs in she only sees “New app” and cannot find or access the shared app—despite being in the correct team.

What we’ve tried:

  • Inviting her via the team “Members” panel
  • Sending a direct editor‐invite link to the app itself
  • Asking her to log out, clear cache, use incognito, and refresh
  • Testing and verifying the invite links in multiple browsers

Expected behavior:
When the user logs in and selects the correct team, the app should appear in her dashboard and she should be able to open it in the Glide editor.

Any guidance on how to resolve the team/app permission glitch would be hugely appreciated.

Do you see her in your Team Members list?

Yes, and is admin.

Okay, to be absolutely certain that she is in the correct team, you can perform the following check:

  • Go to the Glide Builder dashboard, and check the URL in your browser. It should be something like the following https://go.glideapps.com/o/4hsObGWfTekwkxMFsj3w
  • The part on the end after /o/ is your Team ID. In the above example, the Team ID is 4hsObGWfTekwkxMFsj3w
  • Make a note of your Team ID, then ask her to do the same and compare the two.

Let me know the result.

They are indeed, the same urls. I’m thinking her permission roles need to be reset on the backend…

I’d be surprised if that’s the case. Generally once you have access to a Team, you should be able to access all Apps in that team, regardless of your role (member or admin). Glide does not have any role or App based permissions (we often wish it did).

Would it be possible to see a screen shot of what each of you see on the Glide Dashboard?
Maybe I can spot something that isn’t obvious to you.
