Classic App Duplication Issue

I have two classic apps that I’m unable to duplicate into new Glide Apps. I get the error message: Could not get spreadsheet properties: Bad Request - invalid_grant

I have done all the AI support steps, but no joy. This app is incredibly important to our school community. Any help is appreciated!

Do you have access to the spreadsheet that was connected to your Classic App?

Seems like a bug. @comm_support_agent

I do. It’s in my current Google Drive.

Are you sure it’s in the same Google Account that is connected to your Glide Account?

Yes. I checked that first.

Any other ideas?

What plan are you on Glide?

I’m on the free legacy version.

Aah okay.

Maybe you are seeing this issue because Legacy Free Plan doesn’t support Google Sheets anymore.

Try getting the 30 day business trial and then convert your app?

If it works then you will have to subscribe to the $60/month plan as no plan below that offers connection with Google Sheets.

The only issue is that I can’t even open the app to change settings. I was told by the AI help chatbot that upgrading my plan wouldn’t do anything to help with the issue.

I am not saying it will definitely help but I think you can try doing it. You would definitely need atleast a Maker Plan to use Google Sheets.

So your Classic App has been deprecated, which doesn’t let you access the builder, and now you can’t duplicate it as a “New” Glide App?

As Hassan said, Free plans in the newest pricing don’t offer the ability to use Google Sheets, you would need to have a 30-day business trial first to get on a viable plan and then try duplicating it.
