I have the same issue, the column is not visible in Google Sheets, and not able to delete in Glide. Be keen to hear if you get a resolution to this.
Is it a āGlide Onlyā column, such as one of the calculated columns or a User Specific column? Do you have a screenshot to see what kind of column it is? You should be able to delete āGlide Onlyā columns within the glide data editor, but sheet columns need to be deleted withing the google spreadsheet.
Hi, Itās a Glide Column
I was able to rename it to BADCOLUMN but not delete it
STOP PRESS⦠I have found it on the sheet, but the font seems to have been white so not showing up.
Thanks for prompting me to dig deeper.
Loving this product.
Yeah, that looks like you created a basic column that is not user specific. That will actually create the column in the Google sheet. From there you can only delete it in the Google sheet.
It seems to me that a much simpler solution that covers many of the issues that the ādata editor added template columnā solves would be to extend the markdown syntax to be able to perform simple substitution for a reference to one of the existing column headings. So, for example, ā[Tour]ā Tour" would, if Tour equalled āEast Villageā, expand to:
<center>
East Village Tour</center>
And, I realize including HTML in markdown is discouraged, but I canāt understand how markdown can shun this important text formatting construct.
What do you think?
Markdown is a very basic markup language by nature. Itās limited in what it can do. However, if you need centered text, couldnāt you just use the Text component and change the alignment to Center?
Palm smacks forehead. Of course. Duh!
