App Notifications (as of 8/2020)

@abe.sherman This is the way native notifications currently work. This is limited only to Android and only to the use of chat or the comments component. These limitations are due to Apple not allowing native notifications on PWA apps.

Notification push

Only people who: have also commented on the thread and who are not the author and are not viewing the page when the comment happens and are on Android and have accepted Push Notifications when posting their own comment will be notified.
