Is anyone else experiencing an outage when accessing their app through the domain? This is the second time it’s happened to me this week. Are the Glide dev team currently working on updates or maintenance? What may be causing this outage?

Yesterday, we asked you to update your DNS A Name records to a specific IP address due to an unexpected issue with two of our hosting IPs. Earlier today, the third IP address also became unavailable. Our provider has now given us two new, stable IP addresses that are safe to use going forward: 16…

The root cause may not be a Glide issue, it maybe with the service provider, and as the web gets more “Webby” these things will be prone to existence unfortunately.

To resolve the issue, we now have another IP address you can point your A record to. Sign in to your DNS provider’s site and update the A record for your domain to point at 172.67.20.230. Our service that manages custom domains will take a little while to see the change, but it’ll eventually resolve…

This worked instantly for my .com at (Godaddy) — thank you for resolving the issue! Like I mentioned, this seems to happen every 6–7 days, so I’ll keep an eye on it next week to see if it happens again.

I’ve updated the IP address on the A records for all of my Glide / SquareSpace domains. Will keep you posted on whether or not it propagates!

I don’t know what the issue was last week for your domain, but this issue was not related. If you DM me some details, I’ll see what I can figure out about last week’s issue.

You are right hence why its called a web. I guess as a tech a entrepreneur, this is what comes with the game.
