Is there a way to edit the title of the form rather New item as shown in the image below
It’s not available as far as I know, so for cases like this I prefer a form button. I can change the form name as I wish and also utilize the Column/Special values if I need.
I thought about this while developing it
I believe the same limitation exists if we use the Glide “out-of-the-box” Edit functionality. That is, the form title always reads “Edit item”, similar to Yasin’s observation that the “out-of-the-box” Add functionality always reads “Add item”. It would be great if each of these form titles was customizable to provide more data context.
This is on my list of issues too…As well as the fact that the + has less components available and NO text options to write any instructions…
Don’t forget no ability to set conditionality of who can add a new item.
Ah, I take it back…I swear I was somewhere yesterday creating a form and there were no text components…I definitely didn’t imagine it…
Ah, I was mistaken…just remembered it was not text missing, it was a component…I usually add a link to Unsplash on forms that require an Image, to help the user find a great image if they don’t have one ready…and the ADD function is cleanest way in terms of overall UX, but I can’t add that link. Anyway, I misspoke!
