ActionRow click on label does not open links

Team ID:

  • Any

App ID:

  • Any

Description

  • Having an Action Row with an “Open link” action does not respond when clicking over the label area. It only responds when clicking the icon. It should respond to both label and icon otherwise user might think is not clickable.

How to replicate

  • Add an Action Row
  • Add an “Open link” action
  • Put any Url
  • Click on the icon: CLICK WORKS
  • Click on the label of the Action Row: CLICK DOES NOT WORK

Fact

  • Other kinds of Glide UI actions do work in both label and icon, so the inconsistency is there.

This is not a bug. You can add multiple action on an action row. Clicking on the label won’t make sense.

It is a bug. Other kinds of Glide UI actions do work in both label and icon, so the inconsistency is there.

Plus clicking on label makes sense if there is a single action, missclicking is possible in mobile (icon is small)

I agree with Maxime here, this is just not supported, hence I changed it to a Feature Request.

If there’s sufficient amount of interest in a feature, the team would consider working on it.

No no, I think you are missing the point: For other actions like Copy to Clipboard, clicking over the label works as expected. So why it only fails with “Open link”?

Apologies, I think we misunderstood your request to have a link be clickable/hyperlinked from the label when it’s presented.

Indeed, it looks to be a bug, I can reproduce it.
