Hi @L.M
Your flipsnack can work fine using webview.
Previously I also embed ISSUU flipbook for three semesters and it works well too. But unfortunately, recently the Issuu embed had to be a paid one.
To my knowledge in the beginning Yumpu and Flipsnack didn’t work inside Glide. But today it’s great for your information that I can consider both of Issuu’s replacements for my students.
Sometimes iframes can interfere with the appearance of the webview, so I only take the URL as @Roldy said. But there are some circumstances we can’t get rid of because there are some parameters written in it. And still can work.
Thks, Roldy. Just replaced it, it does not seem to make any difference, maybe with a Pro Plan and from a mobile. In the Builder, nothing budges. But that makes to code shorter, so it’s always nice to know Thks
It’s not working on mobile: the app is not on Pro Plan
No, my own tetralogy has been delayed for 1 year, should resume editorial work beginning 2022, says my editor (Tenacity is my second name, and Patience its BFF).
But it’s outside of Glide except the US western story.
I rely on the fact that the widget component is already an iframe in the Glide screen itself, so there is no point in putting an iframe tag inside another iframe tag, but yes that component need a pro plan
it’s already a Detail Screen. Oh, you mean I’d better trigger via a Custom Action to open Heyzine in a New Screen? But I’ll lose the back to Glide app.
Anyway, I don’t need this feature now, fortunately.
So no stress.
Just thought it might work when so somewhere somehow wrote sth about webview and iFrame.
it’s one single page because I set it that way in flipsnack, so it’s the expected behavior otherwise you only hear the flip sound once. I wanted to have a chance to get a large display. But I forgot you can view it in landscape mode, right?
What’s the best setting in Glide Layout you chose? The 1:1, the square? Just curious.
Thks for your time!
The 1:1 size on the left is different from the one on the right. The one on the left means that we keep the size of the source, so sometimes it will leave a blank screen (also a square one). While the right is displaying the maximum on the screen.
