Glide has really made some great strides and I fully understand why the road map is not as clear or more comprehensive as some would expect. I love the fact that they are really into integrating AI into their buildsā¦this will ensure that our Apps remain relevantā¦
While there has been many useful requests made already in this thread and I agree with most of themā¦
I would love to mention 2 features that has been requested before.
- Please add the ability to duplicate Glide tables not just basic column but also computed columns.
This will make us faster in developing solutions for clients as some of the tables donāt need to be created from scratch but can simply be duplicated.
- Another request would be the ability to duplicate connected Apps - where Apps share a table e.g. One being a field App and another being a desktop App. When you create a backup of such a solution, you lose the connection between the two Apps because you have to duplicate each App individually and the result is not a connected App. (I hope this makes sense)
That is my wishlist for 2024ā¦
I know I am not an enterprise/business level client YET but I believe these will be important even for those type of clients. PLEASE make this happenā¦
Additionally, please bring back the ālive buildā with @Mark. This got a lot of stuff sorted live, even if these sessions are held with only experts, that will get a lot of small stuff out of the way.
I canāt wait for you guys to take more of my hard earned money in 2024ā¦itās not much but itās a great investment for me
