Why are buttons' text UPPERCASE in Android and not IOS?

I just noticed this difference of design and I was wondering whether it was a bug or an intentional choice of design …
Do you have any explanation ?
Or any suggestion to keep the text Capitalized but not Uppercase for both Android and IOS ?

I believe that’s to stay within the typical design standards of each OS. To android users, all uppercase letters for buttons probably seem normal, since it’s within the spec of the ideal design standards for that OS.
