When connecting domain does the old link stop working?

Hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone knows any of my two Questions
When you upgrade how do you get to choose your domain and is it provided by glide and is it free?
Also when connecting the domain, do you get to keep the old domain path or the old links to the app wont work?

You must purchase it yourself and Glide does not provide that. It’s not free.

As far as I understand the old links will keep working.
