Hi, it is the 3rd time in 2 months that the Web Embed does not work. This time, it does not work either in the app or in the development environment. The links are all valid, as they work on any web browser. Following last time’s problem, I checked the CORS_ORIGINS and the IFRAME_ORIGINS, as last time GLIDE had done some updates and had not informed us, so I had to manually adjust these parameters. All is good at my end, and I ‘opened’ these parameters to allow any communication.
In Glide, I open the links via the URL field and with a button opening it. And now, I tried as well by pasting directly the link in the web embed field - to check. Nothing works. :-(((
On the side of my links, all is correct and clear, and the fact that the links do work in any other browser points clearly to a problem at GLIDE.
I assume GLIDE is doing some updates, but I would appreciate that we as customers and users of the platform are kept updated, and that they don’t push updates without checking that they work.
Are others experiencing the same problem?
PS several hours later: nothing has changed. And if I paste the most common link, youtube, in the web embed field, it does not work either. I expect that people at GLIDE look at this a bit more carefully and inform what’s going on and how they are fixing it. Not happy.
It is similar, but it is not linked to the Flowise, as no URL works. As i’ve explained, I tested my Flowise URLs on several browsers, they all work very well.
And I pasted into the Glide web embed a YouTube link, nothing works. And is still not working, tried now again, see most recent screenshot with youtube link directly pasted into the field. It is Glide that doesn’t work.
And this is since over a week, as I had this issue last week, it was kind of solved for couple of days but now, since Friday, nothing works.
No communication whatsoever as to what is going on from their side.
Are you sure that YouTube is allowing you to embed their website? The fact that a url works on its own does not guarantee that it will work in an iframe. I tried your YouTube url in several different iframe testing websites and it didn’t work in any of them (ex. https://iframetester.com).
The most important factor is whether or not any website will allow itself to be iframe embedded. Not all of them do, and if it did in the past, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that those third party websites could change their iframe embedding policy.
My FLOWISE agents, which worked up until recently, do not work anymore. I have not done any change on them. And they pass the IFRAME testings, see attached. And they pass the test to not only to open them, but to interact. And the point is not only to 'open’ the window, but to interact in it. I explained that in quite details already. It is a Glide issue. Flowise allows to be embedded in websites etc. So again, focus on Glide to make it work.
So check what changes have been done at GLIDE and whether they have been properly tested before implementation.
