Visibility Conditions at tab level

Do we have this capability or shall we submit new feature request for it?

An App can have a total of 20 tabs in which we like to apply visibility conditions rule at the tab level (not at the component level).

No we don’t have that now.

For me, I’m trying to limit the number of tabs to as few as possible. I try to use images/icons for my “Home” tab and direct people to different screens via there.

Obviously there are tradeoffs when it comes to navigation when you only have 1 tab with multiple screens, but I prefer to have less tabs. I think visibility conditions can be handled with a home tab as I described as well.

I agree that tabs showing in main panel shouldn’t be too many 4 or 5.

Consider this example: Master App reading from master google sheet with the following tabs:

  1. Locations
  2. Departments
  3. Employees
  4. Customers & their contacts
  5. Customer Agreements
  6. Customer Invoices
  7. Customer Payments
  8. Calendar
  9. Bulletin Board
  10. Memos & Announcements

Same App is offered to both corporate employees and to also to customers (as CRM)
So, based on logging user id:
If employee, show tabs 3, 8, 9 and 10
If customer, show tabs 4, 5, 6, and 7

Will submit new request for it in case glide would consider to add it in their roadmap.
