UX designer - remove the wrong notch appearance

The notch appears for the IOS UX. Makes screens look cool. But on an actual device, does it actually work like that?

So could we have a real display rather than an imaginary one, please?

I spent a decent amount of time getting things to look nice up to and around the notch. That was a total waste of effort, all because of the fantasy UX. Thanks :slight_smile:

Can you share the code to put the background image? I think i saw sometimes in some posts but i’ve never copied to my repo. Thanks!

A standard layout takes the top color to the top

Alright. It show fine on iPhone 11pro

I agree, my background has a hard stop right below the notch and thus appearing white or black depending in the device mode. Pretty annoying and not very pretty!
