I’d like this feature! Would this be the user actually pressing Send Email or would it be a Send Email function when a certain condition is met. For example, I have a private chat on my app. Would I be able to create a condition where an email notification is sent to the recipient whenever a chat message is sent on the app?

I would imagine it will be automatic, it is a “node” in the compound actions.
However your note here.
I would image you are using the comments component, in which case it won’t be available as the comments component does not have an “action” with it except creating a comment.
I’m using this as well, with Twilio. It is possible to do this with your App: Comments sheet.

Actually the Chat function doesn’t use Comments to send the original message to the recipient. So, there might be a way to send an email. I just don’t know how.
If your chat is utilizing an “add row” action (it’s new) then you will be able to pack it with a Zapier or this Send Email action.

I’m not using the new “add row” action, but it does add a row when a message is sent with the sender’s and the receiver’s email addresses.
Yeah, I mean it’s an alternative you can consider for better user experience. The new “Add row” action acts like a form submission.

action on all of your accounts. It will show up for Private Pro
apps.

Tried adding a button, then looked through the Actions list - not there.
