Templates the new Copying?

I’ve recently jumped back into Glide and love the new design and new apps (pages) functionality!

I have built two apps with the intent to share (allow to copy) them: one personally and one for my job. Lo and behold things seemed to have changed. I don’t seem to have the option to “allow copying” anymore and the only way to make a template is to use Glide Tables. Had I known this on the front end I would have but I am most familiar with Google Sheets.

2 questions:

  1. Am I missing something and is there a setting to allow copying?
  2. If not, is there a way to convert / migrate from google sheets to Glide Tables?

What would you suggest?

Thanks for any insights!

There is, by making it a private template, but for now there’s a bug with it so you can’t really use that.

No, there’s no way to directly do it. But are you reading the “only way to make a template is to use Glide Tables” part from the template stores guide? I don’t believe that would be a requirement for private templates.

I understand that there is a way to do that with a template, but I don’t have a template and am looking use an existing app / page (made with google sheets) and allow copying… not necessarily as a template.

It seems like this is no longer possible, correct? We cannot allow copying unless something is a template and only sheets with built with Glide Tables as the exclusive data source can be turned into a template. Right?
