Standardise Form Submit/Cancel button order between small/large screen view

Currently, a form will have the submit button on the right in mobile view, and left in large screen view.

Is there a reason for this? It makes custom forms a bit of a pain to keep consistent. Its not a massive deal to have a “show when mobile” button and a “show when desktop” button, but still… why?

I’m not at all sure, but my hope for this design choice would be that the best design practice for buttons would be to be placed on the right on mobile and on the left on desktop.
