'Show sharing options' does not execute consecutively second time around

I have a button that when tapped displays the ‘sharing options’ and I’m able to share the item successfully.

When directly navigating to another item and tapping the share button again, the sharing options are not triggered until the page is refreshed.

any one else experiencing the same issue?
