Sending WhatsApp Messages using Twilio

Hi there,

I have a Twilio account and a sender number, and also an approved whatsapp message template.

Question is how do i send this message using the approved template?
I dont find any option in glide that I can select which message template to use in Twilio.

Am i missing something?

for context: ‘if’ recipient contains numbers of recipients with +country code.

Thanks

I don’t think you can do it with the current integration. Would it be able for you to use a template column inside Glide to construct the message and use it for the “message” field in the screenshot?

Hi ThinhDinh,

Nope it doesnt work too…

Still getting the error on Twilio’s console:

Im so confused as to how this integration works… I cant send in via glide nor finding any way to send in Twilio directly…

Thanks for any help!

Seems like the integration was built more for freeform messages. I’m not sure how Twilio handles it on their side to differentiate freeform clients and “template” clients, but you might have to check if a third party solution like Make.com can use your templates.

I shared this thread with the team. :+1:

We can do more to clarify how the Twilio integration works and what the limitations are per messaging channel.
