Selecting an image on an Android

On the most recent version of Android. Samsung S22 Phone. This happens in multiple apps (not Classic). When using an Image Picker, it will ask where I want to get the image from. I tell it ‘media’, and select the image. Nothing happens. Go through the steps again and select the image, and it downloads.

This is one of those quirks I cannot believe no one else has been experiencing.

I cannot, and will not adopt the moniker ‘The Bug Finder’.

Of course, I have waited months to report this, so it’s possible other people are just “dealing with it”. I can’t believe I am the only one adding images with the Image Picker.

Can you please record a video of it and report to the support team? Thank you.

It happens in all my Apps, and it is consistent. I have added 6 images this morning, and on every single attempt, after selecting the image, it pops back to the “where do you want to get the image from” window, and only selects the image on the second try. I have long-since deleted all the video software and links from my PC, because I only used them for Glilde (when I was more active with it). A video would only visually show them what I have verbally described. Besides, it is even harder to video the phone, which is where it occurs.

And that’s what I mean by "I don’t want to be ‘The Bug-Finder’. I helped another language for years by scrutinizing and documenting bugs for the developers, and I used to do the same for Glide.

I am only posting about this because I know I cannot be the only one experiencing this phenomenon. On a personal level, I am fighting for my life right now, health-wise, and I don’t have the motivation to do all that anymore.
